The Ministry of Education has hired a Consultant under the Maldives LAMP for the Data Analysis and Report Writing of the Teacher Quality Survey conducted by the Ministry of Higher Education in 131 government schools in 18 atolls. The Consultant hired for the work is Dr. Visal Moosa.
The survey was conducted among teachers of Foundation Stage till Key Stage 2 in the 131 schools, to identify teachers’ perception of their own levels for the most important pedagogical skills. This survey is the first step in the action research being conducted by the Ministry of Higher Education under the Maldives LAMP, to identify the effectiveness of the School-Based Professional Development (SBPD) activities and the Quality Assurance (QA) activities being conducted in the schools.
The Maldives Learning Advancement and Measurement Project (Maldives LAMP) is a Project established in the Ministry of Education (MoE) under the Grant Aide of the Global Partnership for Education (GPE). Ministry of Higher Education is also an implementing agency of the Project.
